Girls Basketball Wins
Lady Vikings Basketball Wins
Defeats St. Mary's
In a hard fought and intense game the girls basketball team defeated St. Mary's 47-44.  The girls will go on to play Bishop Fenwick Saturday March 7th at 10:30 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell  for the Division 3 North Final.
Lets get out there and support the Vikings.   GO VIKINGS!!

 
Spring Sports Night
Spring Sports Night at WHS
On Thursday March 5th, we will be holding our Spring Sports Night at Winthrop High School at 6:00 pm in the auditorium. It is mandatory that all parent/guardians and student athletes who will be playing a spring sport attend. Thank you for your cooperation and I look forward to seeing you all there!

Extra Curricular Tutoring Program
Extra Curricular Tutoring Program
Through the generosity of the Viking Pride organization Winthrop High School will be offering academic support for all students involved with extracurricular activities in a before school tutoring program. The intent of this program is to provide students with an opportunity to work with highly qualified WHS teachers in the areas of Math, Science, English and Social Studies.

 

The tutoring will take place before school in the WHS library from 7:00am-8:00am on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. All extracurricular students are welcome to come to the tutoring program on a drop-in or regular basis depending on their academic needs.

SAT Prep Class
SAT Prep Class
Mr. Parsons and Mr. Beck will be running an SAT prep class for students taking the SATs. It will run Tuesdays 3:15pm-7:15pm 2/24/15-4/28/15.
